TRAVELLING TO THE EPICENTRE BY ROAD FROM THE NORTH (M40)   M40 South to Junction 9 A34 South (direction Kidlington and Oxford) after 10 miles, at Botley Interchange, take A420 West (sign to Swindon & Bristol) After about 3.5 miles, slow down to 60mph when the dual carriageway ends, or you may spoil the day by being photographed by a police camera immediately after passing the Land Rover garage on your right. After 11 miles along A420, take left onto B4508 (sign to Stanford in the Vale) After a further 2.4 miles watch out for sign to Stanford in the Vale and take left onto side road as main road bends right. Go through the village of Stanford in the Vale (past two village greens) When you see Kia garage/filling station ahead at the T-junction, turn right through the two white gates to the right of the last house (Bear House) on the right. (This is just before the "give way" and derestriction signs.) Note the oval brass/black sign "68" on right gatepost. Park in courtyard. You have arrived.
