TRAVELLING TO THE EPICENTRE BY ROAD FROM THE WEST   M4 East to Junction 15 A419 North after about 3.5 miles, left sliproad signed to A420 (direction Faringdon and Oxford) about 9 miles further, turn right onto A417 South East (direction Wantage) about 3 miles further, ignore first sign left to Stanford in the Vale village, continue and, just after The Horse & Jockey public house (on the right), take first turning right (opposite Kia garage/filling station) into High Street We are in the two white gates to the right of the first house (Bear House) on the left. Note the oval brass/black sign "68" on right gatepost. Park in courtyard. If you have gone as far as Spencer Close (the first small road on the left, behind the barn) you have already gone too far!
